Delay joining new employer after H1B transfer is approved

As per law, how much delay can i do before starting with the new employer after my H1B transfer petition is approved? I want to continue working with my current employer for a month or two before I start with the new employer, but my h1b transfer petition is approved by USCIS.

Think it all depends on your new employer. If they are okay with you starting a bit late then I don't think USCIS would care.

As far as USCIS is concerned, you have two valid H1b approvals to work . You can continue to work and ignore the other.. or join the new company .. all they care about is you have a notice of approval that's valid.

Thanks for inputs, so you mean Google waited for 4 months even they got H1B transfer approved. So technically I can delay my start date with my new employer for 2 months even though my h1b transfer petition is approved.

Your new employer has to be cool with it though

@nooglerish, I have heard you have to join within 60 days of your approval notice. Have you heard about it? I have a similar situation.
