Considering a position at round rock and wondering what the culture is like there. Current employees - do you enjoy working there? I care a lot more about wlb, work culture than TC
I worked there 4 years ago. I was there for 6 years. I worked from home the entire time...great flexibility. The bad thing with Dell was the lack of job security. Every week for the last two years of my run their I always wondered if it was going to be my last. Dell told me twice that I was being laid off, each time I found another team but it is stressful. I found it difficult to concentrate on my work when I was always in fear of losing my job.
Things could have changed since then so I too would be interested in hearing what are more recent thoughts on Dell.
Update: For the first four years I really did enjoy my work. I was working for a team that was based in the Dell Boston office but I was located in Texas.
