Despite high TC, we all have insecurities, what are some of yours?
Money solves a lot of problems but also brings about others. Though my TC isn’t as high as everyone else’s, I often contemplate what insecurities I’ll have when I finally get there. That being said, I wanted to see what the Blind community’s insecurities were. Are you afraid of being lonely? Are you afraid of failure? Is it your body? Please list them below. P.S. Please give me likes as I’m almost top contributor 🤣 For me; I’d say my body is my biggest insecurity. Being only 5 ft 7 in; I’ve always compensated by working out heavily and being obsessed with a muscular physique. I was taking steroids at one point to get bigger and more shredded as I felt like this would get me more confidence.
If it helps, my friends and I just had a serious conversation about how dating short guys is "in." I wasn't onboard until she pointed out we went to two weddings this past year where the wife was taller than the husband. If you're a well rounded person, it doesn't matter.
Im 6'1 but one ex was a 6'5" womens basketball center. Yeah the public just gawked at us. She'd wear 4 inch heels to meet my friends. That was a riot. Staff would try to keep a straight face seating us at a restaurant. One woman asked "you're the tallest woman I have seen. Are you clumsy? Do you fall over?". Wtf. I decided to settle with my wife who is 'just' 5'11. My ex married a 5'7 Asian man.
Being asked about insecurities

Same. In very specific areas of work that I'm not able to prep for or are otherwise expected to perform without advanced notice, I look horribly incompetent and people judge harshly rather than realizing it's a legit disability.
Not all for sure but most women care about a man’s tc and looks. There may be a very small minority who doesn’t.

Have any treatments worked? I read a long time ago you could get injections to prevent future balding.
Too "big"
Lol I never thought I’d have this issue (since I am avg/slightly below avg), but my wife is “too shallow” and it affects me sometimes.
Nothing. Top two percentile in pretty much everything.
LC hards
Have a thick member that prevents comfortable activity and sometimes it is just not possible to do it. This is not a humblebrag but I feel insecure that I will never be able to find a long term partner.
I feel very insecure thinking what will happen to my kid if I suddenly die.
