That's basically how it goes down
It's more like super deep tech interviews about your skills, but they're not really any better imo. So say you have Angular on your resume, they'd ask you a bunch of angular specific questions and maybe write some code. Say you have docker on your resume, they'll ask all about docker containers and how networking and service mesh works, etc. But, that means your skills have to basically align with the skills the company needs, because they're not looking for a mindset of continuous learning, they're looking for someone with a specific skillset.
