@dialpad people. Why is this company a good bet in your opinion? I appreciate the founders are experienced entrepreneurs, with exits and are from a solid telecoms background, but revolutionising the business phone system... who cares? This is a dying market that's very low value. Basic telephony is seen as a commodity, and there's much price competition. And yes, I know I work at Talkdesk, but we're in call centers and those aren't going away any time soon. Also, we successfully charge a small fortune per seat.
Well the fact is that it's not a dying market, at least not on a short timescale (10-20 years). We offer far more than "basic" telephony, it is the features on top of POTS that is interesting. And those features are what differentiates and allows for increased price.

Stop making us do our homework. Tell us the kind of funding you got. Which teams. How fast is growth. Competitive comp?
