I completed 250 questions so far, thanks to Blind community. BUT still no confidence to face FANG company interviews :( I type the answers instead of doing it on paper / whiteboard. Also I look at approach if I don't get it in 10-15 mins. I haven't revised much any questions I did in past. What worked for you? Should I just give some interviews to see where I am at. Is it recommended to take LC premium? Thanks in advance. TC: 230K L64
Might be worth creating a poll
Thanks. Added poll.
Am in similar position...will be interested in answers
You completed 250 questions thanks to the blind community? What do you mean by that? Like you got motivated by being on here or?
Ya I got motivated by reading all the good posts here about LC. It hasn't given me lot of confidence so far though :( I must be doing it wrong.
I have premium and I can say you don’t need it. It really only gives you lists to company questions which you could get from googling around. After a while you realize there are a lot of patterns / types of questions. Get good at these patterns and you’ll be ok. It’s ok to look at solutions but don’t type in the solution come back to it later and try without looking.
Thanks. This is very helpful. Ya, I just look at the approach if I don't get it and code it myself. But I don't come back to it later. That's what I think am missing.
Yeah you definitely want to come back to it later, because it makes sense in the moment you look at it because it’s fresh in your head, but the underlying concept/pattern may not have stuck
Have you read Cracking the Coding Interview yet?
Just apply. Not sure where how cult of FAANG started. If you pass interview, great. If not, try again.
Thanks. Ya I just get cold feet thinking I am gonna give FAANG, so I should feel prepared. I think I should just give some loops and see how it goes.
The only worthwhile thing offered by premium are those locked problems and maybe, but just maybe, their classification by company. And both are all available for free in the web.
I don't think classification by companies is available outside of LC.
Xoogle
It only helps for certain companies who ask questions from a fixed set. It also helps in coding challenges questions- usually the top 5 questions are coding challenge questions for that company. Premium is basically bribing to get through earlier rounds of companies. For later rounds, premium doesn't help.
Interesting insight..thanks for sharing!
One strategy could be - if you don’t get an approach in 10-15 mins, don’t look at approach immediately. Keep the question in mind and come back to it later. You can think about it during commute or something. Looking at approach should be kept as last option. Frankly, I m against this 45 min time setting for coding questions. For same question, I usually perform better if there is no time limit. I m pretty sure, no one would expect from you to write & deploy efficient solution in about 45 mins on a real production system. That is where software engineering practices come into picture.
I like this. This is good strategy, better than what I've been doing simply because I thought I gotta maximize LC count.

How do you revise LC? Solve all the questions again every 2-3 weeks?
Thanks. +1 on @pgnn00 question
