Hello. I've got an offer from TacoBell company in Irvine as a QA. I live in San Jose. Thinking if it worth to move (contract 6-12 months)? Thanks
Irvine is great, but super expensive
Cheaper than San Jose and nicer
Did live* JESUS
?
Indian?
Perks? Free tbell in the test kitchen?
Irvine is fine. I found it quiet, dull, and boring while in my 20s but I'm sure my perspective has evolved as I got older. Well planned communities, close to the water, lots of bike trails and not too far from LA or SD if you want to venture out.
Thank you guys, I don't like only that, it is a contact for 6 months No questions if it would be a full time... After my contract will be over I am pretty sure, there are not so many tech companies, and I would have to come back. That's annoying with my truck of personal stuff. I'll rather stay here then.
There are a bunch of great companies in the Irvine / LA area
It's the most boring town in the world but has a few very nice restaurants and not too far from LA, you'll get to explore what I think is the greatest food town in the US
I don't think, that restaraunts could be a reason to move for me.
I wouldn’t move for a contract job, but that’s just me.
Irvine is a great place to live in
It depends on a person's situation. If it's early career and you need good experience on the resume, then it could be a good thing.
