Digital Ocean contact?
Reposting: I’m interviewing at Digital Ocean and am curious if they just ask for references or use a 3rd party service to do background checks. Curious because I have to provide more info and documentation of it’s a 3rd party service do to a common name and erroneous info coming up.
They called my refs
Clarify your history if any erroneous information comes up due to having a common name. They called my references too. The recruiting process is long, drawn out, and extremely inconsistent. I had seven interviews and so did my peers. Now I’ve heard they have half of that for the same position. If you’re buddy-buddy with the right male executive, you’re ushered into Digital Brocean. It is very much a boys club and similar to stepping back into time. Good luck to you. But even more good luck to you if you’re a minority and/or female. Tenure and experience DOES NOT matter here. Save yourself the hassle.
They do background check. 2 yrs sgo they used sterling for me. They ask you to fill online firm to start the check. I dont think they called any of my references.
