Does anyone have an idea how much a senior digital marketing associate with 2-3 years of experience should be getting for salary package in SF? Digital marketing manager numbers would help too - glassdoor numbers are all over the place.
Depends on your focus area. If display/social etc. likely close to $80K, if SEM $80K+
75-95 is a good range from what I've seen.
Really depends on sem and analytical abilities. Do you use R or Python? Are you more of an acquisition marketer or a brand marketer? Do you have a deep understanding of attribution and the ability to accurately translate your models into actions that elevate conversion? If yes to all then high 100s. If no to any then I'm not sure what value you're able to create and can't imagine much would be justified.
Dropping SEO knowledge beyond the basic broken links, 404s, internal linking, etc will get you into the 100s. Talk about position "0" and how featured snippets are changing the SERP.
you have any good resources for learning more about solid SEO? Im a paid media person and our agency SEO department is decent, but I dont trust that they are the best to learn from.
There is a reason why Glassdoor numbers are all over the place. How much you make will depend on how good you are, what company you work for (startup or Fortune 500?), what you negotiate, how much they need you at the time, location, etc. 2-3 years experience is still junior, but you should be making 65-85k. You can raise your salary faster if you job hop, but that can backfire if you do it too much.
