Curious to hear what the typical comp package for a Director of Product Management is?
I've seen places offer as low as $250K-300K and there are places like G/FB that are closer to $800-1M or even higher. Given that OP is at Capital One, it's probably closer to the former.
500k all-in, on average. Varies across BUs. NSBU / CPBU would be higher.

My guess is $400K to $500K all in per year in Palo Alto based on the group and your ability to negotiate
Just went through this process. The range varies quite a bit by company because Director isn’t an equivalent level across companies. Overall range is $600k to $1.3m probably before refreshes and appreciation. Top companies: 1) Facebook 2) Netflix 3) Google $1m+ Big companies out of top tier e.g. 1. LinkedIn 2. Twitter $750-$950k depending on competing offers. Big pre or shortly post IPO companies: $600-$850k, but pre IPO you might expect large appreciation so this turns into much higher. Lower paid big public company Director roles: 1. Adobe 2. Amazon 3. Intuit Many others $400k-$700k
