I know comp.fyi exists but there's selective data in there and no verification. I read that CA law requires companies to disclose pay scale. Has anyone done this before? Do they give you the range for the whole company or for levels?
> Under this legislation, California employers must provide "applicants" with the "pay scale" for a position upon "reasonable request." https://www.shrm.org/resourcesandtools/hr-topics/talent-acquisition/pages/california-attempts-clarify-salary-history-ban.aspx
Looks this is only for the level you are applying (hence expectations), and it is not an enforcement. Didn’t say employer has to provide when asked.
