I was discriminated by a senior manager in the department a few months ago. The case was very clear (think about race, gender...etc) and happened in a formal setting with witness. I reported to HR. The senior manager only got an oral warning without any demotion/significant punishment. I think the penalty was too light, merely no punishment at all. A few colleagues have recently told me that the same manager uses abusive languages on them. I don't know if those include discrimination as well, but I keep wondering if there's anything I can do to raise the issue again internally and potentially kick this manager out of the company. I know that we can file a complain to EEOC. That's a formal external solution which I am not currently considering because it will take a lot of time and energy. I would appreciate if anyone can provide a simpler way or solution. Thank you.
Sounds like you have to play office politics. Honestly, look for another job. If that guy is a manager and he gets to keep working after being discriminatory, then your workplace sounds like it’s awful for employee mental health. Is he married? Hire an escort to seduce him and then send the pics to his wife.
Go to EEOC first and then HR. HR will take you seriously since there is a second witness and will look to protect the company over this one bad manager

They are adults, they should speak up for themselves. You can’t be the only one doing it. This is not a civil rights issue and you are not Harriet Tubman. Focus on you and encourage the others to speak up for themselves.
Racial and gender discrimination are foundationally and demonstrably civil rights issues. What's wrong with you?
It’s not civil rights when it’s not systematic. It is one hater in at Will corporations
Ask a reputable lawyer if you can sue to teach him a lesson
If you work at a larger public company there’s usually an ethics hotline that you can anonymously (or not) report issues like this. Encourage others who have been discriminated against or harassed to come forward. Send an email to the CEO or head of HR with your concerns and if this manager is still there, find another job because the culture is toxic!
We’d need to know specifics before offering advice. What was actually said to you and what was the “abusive” language?
Nothing new, this world is shit, sorry.
Sounds like a Facebook mentality!
We are shoveling shit like the rest of the world, only at a much faster rate coz we have smart people.
