Disney and Netflix engineers
I just wanted to extend my sympathies to all disney plus support engineers fighting the fire currently and to all netflix engineers for the future hardships.
Never heard of high TC at Disney.
idk maybe their senior engineers can get $70k if they're top performers
Except for the initial hiccups the service seems to be doing fine. Netflix is going to have a hard time justifying the high TCs it gives to its engineers.

Netflix grew organically, which is nice but Disney doesnt have that luxury. Netflix didnt get 20mil subscribers on launch day.
Hardships? Assuming Disney and Netflix are NOT complementary, we just became more valuable. But either way still going to show up and try to entertain the planet. So it's a neutral-to-positive situation.
isn't Disney just an h1b sweatshop nowadays? remember those layoffs where they replaced skilled engineers with cheap ones
