I was offered 100k salary, 20k ltip, .5 cent on the dollar 401k match to work in Seattle at Disney.

I have 1.5 years experience as a full stack data engineer and took the offer.

Is this a fair offer?

I'm a contractor for Disney. My experience has varied wildly between departments. Some teams are wildly mismanaged, some are great.
    Best of luck to you!

Yea that’s fair. They don’t pay much for tech talent. Leads on my team range from 117-130.

Make them sign something that if you have to train your H1B replacement, they'll give you a 100K. ✅

How do you know that he is a citizen or green card holder? He could be on H1-B some other visa

I've seen better in Seattle given the rising cost of living there

You're more than likely making 15-35% more than an internal company transfer would make. If it's worth it depends on your previous comps. Seems like it's on par with your experience and location.

401k options are pretty decent. Lots of good mutual funds to pick from. Only match 4% though.

For only having 1.5 years experience that seems about right for Disney.
