Do AWS and Azure certifications help to get into big companies
Title says it. Do certifications increase your chances of getting into the leading cloud companies. Is it even worth spending so much time and money?
Passing interviews gets you in. Plenty of morons have certs

Your prev place of work and experience would speak louder than certs.
No, it will not help. Nothing help in fact except preparation. Of course, having those certifications might help recruiters to find you on LinkedIn.
Certs can sometimes help you get an interview, but interview performance matters more than certs for actually getting hired.
Does not matter. It just helps you some aspect of day to day problem solving but at the end how you can sell your self in the interview that matters most and how you tackle problems.
