I’m considering buying a Tesla. I can afford it easily, but still don’t feel good about spending $100k on a car. When I drive through the city and see homeless people everywhere it makes me feel guilty. I’ve been lucky in life, gone to good schools, worked at great companies, and these homeless people haven’t had the same opportunity. Do people in expensive cars feel guilty when driving their car through the city?
Just lease the expensive car for a year to try out.
As per priest at Church, donate 15% of your salary. If you can still afford it than buy without feeling guilty!
That’s just making someone else rich so that they can buy that Tesla. Donation at church or any religious org is the stupidest idea
Donate your 15% to the food bank.... they REALLY help a lot of poorer people in the local communities!
Your success is your own. But so are your responsibilities. Own them both with pride.
Maybe just get a decent car and donate the rest if you feel that bad. I can guarantee you that helping others will feel infinitely better than being in a tesla. I don’t drive a cheap car. I love cars and i earned all of my money but its not like my wealth will go with me after i pass so i try to use give what i can to those who need it
Just buy it...
I drive a 2nd hand Mazda hatchback and I feel guilty why didn't I buy BMW when I could have? Oh the vicious cycle of desires.
Rent an expensive car every now and then. Buy a sensible car for every other day.
I️ bought a Tesla CPO for $50k and 17k miles back in Jan here in Seattle. Got a sweet ride; half the price. And little guilt. Find a happy medium
Where did you get the CPO from? From Tesla itself?
Tesla is normal here. Don't be a wuss, you're not driving around in a 'Rari
Have fun dude Don't be miserable because the world is Help and volunteer when you can
