Biden says GOODBYE tiktok
Do you guys feel you are way overpaid for your job in California? I mean I started my 1st job out of college 2 weeks back and still going through my onboarding but the work seems pretty casual and paper pushing. Other than my trainings online, I feel like I have nothing to do. Is it because I havent been inundated with work and projects? Do every new hire thinks like this ? or am I being paranoid? TC: 100k YOE: 0.50
I dont have anything to brag about dude. I am asking a serious question.
A company never overpays. If they are then they makesure they bring the cost down in near future.
From a demand standpoint, not overpaid. But the reality is that most if not all us are massively overpaid. We happen to be in a great field. That's why there's money in what we do.
Initial days start slow. Not ethical to bully a new bee with loads of work. You should wait for few months before making a conclusion.
Thank you. I guess i needed to hear this
Only underpaid
Do you feel you have to work until you are an old man? If so, you are not overpaid.
What about management and real state owners which get money for no good reason other than the fact they got lucky of did something nice in the past
Sounds like you have good work ethic if this is something you actually think about. Wait 90 days and see if you still feel the same way; as mentioned, most companies/teams don't open the flood gates right away. You can also choose to be proactive and dip into projects voluntarily. But to your question, there's always more money to be made.
Go work as an Engine/Graphics developer in the gaming industry if you want the true definition of being underpaid
We are all underpaid
