You don’t have to able to grow one to like it or hate it
You cant like what you cant get. Lots of techies cant, they are gonna skew the results towards not liking it

Or accentuate a good jawline, if it's short and well maintained
I usually don't notice a big difference. Whatever makes the guy/gal (heck we're all very inclusive here) - it's their choice to wear one or not. But if one doesn't take a good care of their beard and just lets it grow whatever, then it looks like pubic hair to me.
Shaving takes too long, let that facial hair grow out!

It depends...look good on some and doesn't on others. Also deends on how long it is
That means you like beard. For me. Beard looks ugly all the time. No matter on whom or how long or whatever
