Or do you love it? Personally I feel passion for the work I do and I have aspirations within the industry. As much as there are challenges, I also don’t regret my choice. Wondering how others feel?
How did you get into your current gaming position?
My only regret going into gaming was that at Disney it basically went away: some of my best memories were contributing to Disney Infinity!
I’m at Amazon Game Studios now and making FAANG money while making games. Life is good.
They make games?
That's pretty awesome. Where are you located and are there any job openings?
It's hard. I can't regret it because my career has grown a lot in the last 10 years. I sometimes feel it would had been easier in a different tech industry but ultimately here I am and I've been part of four AAA games. I wouldn't change that for anything. But sometimes, some days I do feel like I hate this industry and would like to do something else. I think I am fairly compensated (pretty close to a FAANG TC ) but I am the exception not the rule, I have played my cards and politics better than others.
What does EA pay sdes? How’s their TC laid out?
Depends a lot on the studio or location. A game studio pays more than a central team.
What's with all of the gaming topics lately? Lol.
If I hadn’t done it I always would have wondered “what if” But now that I’m in it I wonder “what the fuck”

How prestigious is databricks?
I don't regret it at all and hope to spend more time working on games again soon. Maybe our experience Riot is different than other studios, so I have not felt burnt out working on games.
