Do you sit in the front or back seat of an Uber?
When you are taking an Uber or Lyft by yourself, do you sit in the front or the back seat of the car? My total compensation is about 230k per year

Lately a lot of drivers have stuff in the front seat or have it pushed really far forward and don’t want you to use it unless you’ve got a full car. Very different than when these apps first came around
Well, just report these drivers, so that no other people suffer.
Can someone plz explain why would anyone want to sit in the front? Whenever people hire drivers the owner/employer always sit in the back. Same for taxi. Isn’t it natural to for Uber as well?
When they first came out sitting in the front seemed more correct but it felt weird and eventually I moved to the back. That was back when I rated three stars if it was a pretty good ride. Figured five stars was for something rare and mythic

I’ve ridden in thousands of Ubers at this point, no exaggeration. It took a few dozen rides before I didn’t want to talk to drivers anymore and they get it when you just sit silently in the back staring at whatever. It’s not a social call.
Pretty surprised by the results so far...is it bad etiquette to sit in the front??
