Don’t have kids! They are so much work! I love my daughter but I get little time for myself
My children are all adults now, college graduates and employed. I even have a 1 yo grand daughter from my oldest and his wife. Life is good. No regrets.
Regrets about children are for morons. Get your life together before you bring another one in.
I want them more than anything in the world and often lay awake at night feeling depressed that I'm probably too old to ever have any. My lover and I are both over 40 - I waited and waited for her to be ready to get married and start a family and too much time passed. I would give absolutely anything to have a child of my own. If you offered me a life where I'd make so figures but never have kids, or minimum wage but with one, I'd take the latter. No question.
I want lots and lots of kids around me but I don’t need a wife for that. I love kids so much that I would probably start a school or an orphanage some day.
Count me in if you do this someday, not as a kid of course 😀
An option is missing here: Have kids, fucking love it. Also: have dogs, fucking love it.
Cats only.
Have kids and love them. Regret the marriage.
Kids are awesome. The first 2-3 years require some extra effort, but then it’s so fcking amazing. To help another human being to grow and learn and get his sincere unconditional love back is the most fulfilling and joyful experience in the world. No kidding.
TC 200K? Chicago? God I need to move back to the Midwest
200k in Chicago? Congrats my man
Thanks. But I'll explain so it doesn't appear as though I'm some hard working genius. Extreme luck. Top 5 math+CS, decent physics. Finished grad school simultaneously. Landed in one supportive team after another. Opportunities fell in lap with both research and patent after patent along with world-class leadership.
Good that you don’t take yourself too seriously
