I have 2-3 years of experience after undergrad. After Masters, can I expect to get a 10-20% increase over the new grad offer(TC)?
The standard offer I see is 142k + 7k(relo) = 149k But I was offered close to 170k as a nee grad. I have ~2 years ex prior to masters. But I was not hired through University recruiting pipeline. Mine was team specisfic.
That sounds right I was just making sure you weren't thinking 142 base because it's def not
Don’t go through university pipelines. I made 170K + relocation as new grad for team specific hiring.
What do you mean by specific team hiring ? How should we apply for such roles ? Did you get any referral? @grindhard
@grindhard Im kinda in the same boat. Not a university hire, 6month exp. I'm looking for teams in SoCal, was your team in SF?
No, Amazon's new grad hiring is done in a separate pipeline from their normal hiring and does not negotiate
If this is the case, then any point in joining amazon just for the 'name' ?Majority of the other firms should consider experience!
