Got an offer from them. Department of Labor shows they sponsor a lot of H1-B. (500 each year) But virtually all their job postings say they don’t sponsor. How can this be? TC: 🥜 Amex TC: 150% melted 🥜 butter
They usually sponsor people already working at amex offshore to come in the US, contractors after years of service who accumulated a lot of internal knowledge or director level+
That sucks, could’ve been a good offer.
Sponsorship requires approval from SVP so most leaders avoid doing so... however, if you are an excellent candidate, they will do it within a heartbeat!
Did you get an offer? Or investigating options?

Most of their job posting says no sponsorship. Though I know couple of people who got converted from contractor to fulltime. They had their H1b done.
So they don’t do full time sponsorship directly?
They might, unless job posting says otherwise.
