Does Apple have NYC office? Or offices outside of Bay Area/SEA?

I have an offer for a role in Cupertino and am deciding if I should take it and try and transfer in a year or two to a new office.

If so, are transfer within Apple easy? What offices exist for SWE outside of the Bay/Seattle.
If not, is remote work allowed after a certain amount of time?

I thought Apple Media Product was there too. Is that job listing wrong?

There is not a super friendly remote culture on most teams. To transfer teams, I’ve always had to re-interview with a complete round of onsites.

The NyC office is small — a few floors of a building and mostly apple media products commerce engineering.

If you’re up for working in Cupertino, i would try it and make those connections for a year before working at a new office.

Talk to your recruiter. Remote work depends on experience level and your manager. Which office depends on your manager.
