There is one group created to compete with cloud tech. They have a higher salary cap. If you’re on some specific AWS teams at Amazon anyway, they will pay 20% above Amazon’s band. Amazon will walk you out the door on spot and not counter that offer. Their non-cloud teams are not as competitive. Oh, and they come with hilarious titles. 3 years out of school “principal architect” 😂

So the thing was oracle started building this team and guys who got in early got lucky with titles as well. Clay happens to be one of them. They pay better than fang. Hubby works there
