Don’t forget cash and check, which are both “free!” At the end of the day, the Square platform as a whole often lowers the total cost of ownership for a business in relation to hardware, software, point of sale, merchant acquiring services, security, PCI scope, access to capital, employee management, access to data, etc.

Are your users on WeChat? Does WeChat have a stand-alone POS terminal? My experience with payments is that unless you are huge it doesn’t make much of a difference which vendor you go With.
