Does anyone have friends that use Facebook Stories, Insta Stories, Messenger Day?
I never see friends posting their story on Instagram or on Facebook or on messenger for that matter. There's a couple friends that do (like 2 or 3) but everyone else doesn't use that feature. They still use the apps but not the stories and they still use snapchat for stories. Anyone else seeing the same behavior or a different behavior? Which app has your friends updating stories the most?
Yes I have some friends using Instagram's version (most popular). 2-3 fiends ever use FB stories.
Those things are more of a fad than anything and like all fads they lose popularity over time. I have friends that use IG stories and still use snapchat but I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I never view their stories and rarely reply to anyone that snaps me unless it's a female. š
170 million DAUs is more than just a fad I would say

Do you have many female friends? Almost all stories are posted by women in my feed.

Instagram stories is the most popular by far. I've noticed that my friends who used to primarily be on Snapchat have migrated over to Instagram these days.
Most of my friends use IG stories more than Snapchat now. Also more IG Stories posts than actualy IG posts. super interesting

Yeah, hardly any of my friends use Snapchat anymore, but almost everyone uses IG stories. No idea why anyone would use FB or messenger stories. Only my friends who work at FB use those products. They seem totally unnecessary. (I'm mid-twenties with lots of friends who aren't in tech, live in NYC/LA/abroad.)
Interesting! I have about 3x more friends using Snapchat than IG stories. They're different people and I'm closer with my friends on Snapchat in general. My IG stories are primarily from bloggers/influencers/celebrities. I'm 25 years old w majority of friends who aren't in tech as well and live in NYC/Seattle/LA/SF
