I don't think they're allowed to. And apple is very good about those things so I wouldn't worry about them asking. They'll know if you lie though. They do that all day, every day.

No they won't. It's easy to lie. We all know what offer look like at various companies. Whether lying is the right move is debatable.

If they do, just tell them it was verbal. You won't get blacklisted but it's a dick move to the other company.

I indeed have a competing offer. I fear if i send the proof to apple then the other company might not feel good about the fact that i shared the offer with others if they get to know somehow. I might be blacklisted by them.
You won't be blacklisted. Also they know about comp packages from every other competitor anyways.
