Ive been seeing some posts on LinkedIn about tracking products and strategies but haven’t ever worked for a company that does it. I’m only talking about direct managers reading your email, taking screen shots of your computer, gps location tracking etc. any stories?
Wtf
Every company does monitor in some ways. Like if you click on the three little spot on top right corner of chrome and I see “managed by your organization” then everything is monitored. But I never heard direct managers do that. Did it happen in WeWork??
At my old company that was acquired did. Know folks who were fired. As for the acquiring company, I don't think so. It is against IT policy.
You should always assume every action at work is monitored. Most is. Not by human. By computer.
