Is it allowed to drive in Mexico using CA license? Is driving left hand drive? Do we have automatic/gearless cars as they are common here in California
You might have to ask car reservation specifically for automatic transmission. They have *more* manuals but autos def exist
Thanks
In Mexico they drive on the right side of the street.
Get an international drivers license anyways. Even if technically legal cops might give you a hard time.
Google down or something?
I drove from Meixo City to St Miguel. The feeways are top notch, but the entry and exit ramps were a little tricky. Drove an Automatic. And of course there is Uber.
Cops may pull you over and search you, shake you down for money, etc. It's Mexico.
Fucks like you give Mexico a bad rep. If you follow the rules, no cop is going to stop and harass you as you're claiming. If you're speeding or something, then yes, you might get pulled over, just like anywhere else in the world. And cops in the US can be assholes too, remember that. My friend was stopped by a cop in Meixoco City because he was walking on the street with a beer can. We were sure he's getting a citation, but the cop just gave him a warning and let him go. Mexico is a beautiful country with beautiful people.
Sounds like Mexico hired Sarah Huckabee Sanders to do their PR here.
Yes. Yes. Yes
Thanks
How was your experience in driving in Mexico? Are roads good? Do people follow rules?
