Dropbox Titles
I noticed that Dropbox has many titles with “Head of...” on their career website. Is this one level below Director or Director with significant people management responsibilities? Non tech here
Not positive but isn’t it like a director level but doesn’t manage anyone?

Means they’re open to hiring at a range of levels for the role. Internally “head of” isn’t a thing.

Depends. My guess is 200-230 base, 65-75K bonus, 100-150 annual equity

Eh . I make 450K as a non Director non tech at Facebook
My understanding is that Directors at Google and Facebook are much more senior? More like VP/SVP equivalent. Everyone else seems to be either managers (or “head of...” at google)
I’m just a lowly peon, so I’ve not heard of it.
