Dubai vacation
I am planning to have a 3 day Dubai vacation during my trip to India. I am on h1 visa. Do they give 96 hour visa on arrival for h1s?. Heard taxi are very expensive and Uber hasn’t picked up yet. Has anyone tried it? Any dos and don’ts? How was your experience? Interested in seeing Dubai mall, khalifa and palm island.

Stayed for week in Dubai during H1-B visit to India vacation. dont take pics in public. Yes, all the places you mentioned are must see.

H1 b visa holders don’t need a visa for certain duration in Dubai.
Did that in 2016. H1 visa holders do need to apply for the 96 hours e-visa before traveling to Dubai. Do a desert safari, that was a good experience. Dubai mall was ok. Burj khalifa was good. Do not drink in public.

I'm a white American and I had no issues drinking, taking photos, etc., in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Is your advice specific to Indians for some reason? My only advice would be don't get obnoxiously drunk and then go out in public (stay in the hotel you got drunk in instead), and don't make out in public, *especially* not with anyone of the same sex. And obviously no drugs.
