Duration of background check
How long does it take for Amazon's background check for SDEs to complete. They are hiring the services of Accurate Background. Some of the verifications to be made are international.
took me 2 weeks. They reached out to my undergrad college in Lebanon and that delayed it quite a bit I guess
Maybe because you are a foreigner, they only did a criminal background check on me. No employment verification or titles.
Do they check title? If so how do they check your designation of you chose "do not contact my previous employer"
No and no. the only question they can ask is if this person worked here on said dates
What are you worried about them finding?
I am not worried about them finding anything :) i am hoping they will finish quickly. And i want to just get an idea of the timeline
So normally people resign after background check is finished? Or immediately after signing offer letter?
Better to wait until after background check.
For domestic, it took less than a week. For international, probably about 2 weeks
4-6 days
Were all the checks within US. or did they have to contact people in other countries.
