Do you need amazon to help you with exposure? If not and you know about search engine optimization then Shopify is a better way to go

I have launched my own private label brands before joining Amazon that I sold off. I used both platforms. Amazon will give you scale, brand awareness and SHOPIFY will give you higher margin and sticky customers

If you are selling a product and it does well, Amazon can see that. It won’t be long before there’s a clone of your widget by Amazon Basics.

You should diversify into as many channels as you can support, to see which ones get the most traction. If there is too much overhead being in several, and you can see what works from there. The answer can depend on both your product, audience, and business, so test them all out.

With Amazon your products are exposed to far more potential buyers, but they set the rules and you have to follow them. There’s a lot more control with a Shopify store. Flip side is the cost involved in driving people to your site.

Use Shopify and just setup the amazon channel app so you can sell on both
