E5 and E4 salary range for Hardware Engineer
I am expecting a offer either as E4 or E5 as hardware engineer from FB. I hear that hardware is a less than software but would be nice if someone can tell by how much... YOE 11

Base/bonus ~ SWE for same level. RSU ~ 0.5-0.7xSWE. For E4 in HW expect 200-220TC, E5 220-250

OP, what grade level were you at Intel? What aspect of hardware design was your role at Intel? Did you end up taking the FB offer?

What’s your offer?
From what I've heard, it's 1 level lower than SWE (ie E5 will pay like E4). It will still crush your Intel TC.
