How do consulting interviews go? Was emailed by a recruiter today. Any leads will help. Supply chain advisory role with EY
A friend of mine works there in the Chicago office and likes his job. But it is power prestige than Amazon for sure. You would have to travel a lot to small towns. You'll typically do case interviews and behavioral interviews. Pretty standard.
They have a supply chain service line under digital as well. I had an offer and spoke to range of people from supply chain advisory to digital to transaction management. Interview itself wasn't too hard. It was all telephonic for me. I didn't accept the offer because I got offered by Apple and also because going to EY would mean travel every week, and also would mean that I would have to sell my stock positions ( Amazon, Intel, a lot of tech majors). So they should be a factor in decision making too. But anyone I spoke to, did not hear any complaints about culture, growth, work etc. Only complaint people had was up to 90% travel in a year.
Also, big 3 including EY are known to give high % raises year over year even for non promotion and average cases. If you are promoted, then people tend to get double digit % raises plus promotion cash bonuses on top of regular performance based bonus. I found from some folks that when they were promoted to senior manager from manager they got like 20% raise plus 20k bonus or such.
run run run
what do you mean? Run from amazon or run from EY
Run from EY, if you think Amazon is bad EY is way worse
