Education Benefits in Amazon
Joining Amazon next month and would like to know what kind of Education Benefits does Amazon provide? If one wants to do some certifications or professional courses, does Amazon cover those? Also, is there any internal training platform does Amazon use?
I’ve spent $5,000 on certificate courses.. Amazon has covered/reimbursed zero. I don’t think there are any benefits.

They will pay the cost of your AWS exam.... if you pass lol

I was at the NYC office today and they don't even have bananas....
I was at one of their EU offices, and they had the shittiest monitors that can be bought, just because they were cheap. I feel like frugality is a good principle, but not when it comes to investing in employees.
Talk to your SDM, he might be willing to cover some courses. And yes, there is an internal training platform as well.

It's a platform to browse for trainings with certain criteria and register for a training etc. Yes it is build by Amazon and the content is also primarily created by Amazonians.
