At Google our egg freezing benefits were changed for 2018. The benefit is no longer covered in full but subject to co insurance so no matter what you would end up paying roughly $5K for the procedure. Is this the same at other tech companies ?
I guess this sounds in line with Google cutting benefits
Salesforce covers 90% after weโve reached our deductible if we use Progyny. They will also cover 3 SMART cycles. If you opt for surrogacy they will give financial assistance up to $10k.
New Relic does not offer such assistance at all
Damn.. how are their benefits otherwise
These benefits are so sinister in that less informed people will think that they can just defer the decision for decades. More flexibility in work arrangements is more conducive to parenting. Delaying pregnancy until your 40s comes with additional risks that amount to far more then a few thousand dollars.
What about women who haven't found the right person yet and want to postpone having a baby? It's not always work related.
Meeting a right person and having a baby are two completely different things ๐๐
All you get at Amazon is a flu shot.
Lol
be thankful, most companies donโt offer this benefit
