Mine was base salary 105k -> 120k -> 133k over my first 2.5 YOE in SF. I quit EE after 3 years, got my CS+MBA, and will be making a lot more as a Product Manager.

Thats pretty low for SF. You should move to a tech company
That’s pretty good for hardware. I couldn’t get a job in 2011.
I struggled in 2011 as well but managed to find job with 40k salary in small company and worked my way up
