I will be going to India this winter and have few items like DSLR camera, Bose speaker , home security camera for personal use. Has anyone faced any issue with the custom officer? Even if it's not related to the items above .
Nope. Just walk to the "Nothing to declare" gate like a boss.
Are you serious?
Everything OP mentioned is for personal use and unpacked. No need to worry. We Indians overthink most of the times.
Yes I always tick nothing to declare..
Keep those in check in. They’d check only carry on
That's not how it works.
Wear a university sweatshirt....they generally don't stop students
Yup just walked through nothing to declare they are pretty cool
If you are taking as gifts and it’s above the Taxfree limit, why won’t you pay taxes? Would you break the law if you were travelling to the US? Please pay the taxes. most Indians in the US can afford them.
These items are for my home in India. What's the tax-free limit btw ? Any experience?
Keep 50$ bill handy.. 👮🏽♂️🤝🤑👈🏽
Lol too less for a bribe at customs
It's not US. Guns will not be allowed.
