Eng Manager Interview @ airbnb
Preparing for an eng manager loop. Stick to the usual online resources for coding and design (LC / hacker rank / etc ) ? Any other tips / advice one can share ? Appreciation in advance.
Op, how long did it take for your recruiter to set up an interview? Did you apply through a referral?
Pretty normal. Difference is just that you are expected to get to a real working solution (or close to it, for the hard ones) in the interview, and run the code to prove it works.
Do you have any example coding or design questions you can share?
You still have to be good at technical. You may get some leeway when it comes to how fast you got to the solution or might not get asked the hardest of the hardest questions, but you need to prove that you can compete with a good engineer. In addition to good performance in the behavioral interviews. I think it’s more interesting to prepare for Eng Manager interviews, but also a bit harder overall.
