Engineer to PM after doing a distance MBA course.

Microsoft just do.

I'm planning to do distance MBA course and convert to PM.
I think PM has more scope to grow than Engineer. I may be wrong.

I'm in Redmond, any suggestions on which course and college will help me to get relevant knowledge?

Any personal experiences?

No advice but just wanna day you are correct. Though ppl on blind are all shortsighted TC nuts. PM has broader scope, more potential for growth and a path to future leadership.

That's true, although from my experience, PMs get a lot of hate on Blind (at least at Booking). The title is very broad and therefore subject to misinterpretation

      Why unPM?

There are many teams who operate without a PM (at least at Booking). I've only heard devs, analysts and DSs complain about PMs so it's a pretty thankless task. There is huge accountability but no authority which is a terrible place to be. Besides, it's more difficult to get side gigs/ another source of income in (tech roles) because not specific skill set.
