I have about 15 yrs experience, got an offer from Priceline.com and they leveled down to senior software engineer. Total 150k base, 15 sign on and 15% bonus + 15k in stocks. Should I join or try negotiating for a principal ? I did well on the interviews, may be because I am from financial services they leveled me down

They are headquartered in Norwalk, CT and also have a office in New York City

Agree here. You will keep cursing yourself that you are better than someone who is one or two levels above you with less experience but just stayed in Priceline forever

You are heavily low balled. Negotiate till you get something u are happy with or don’t take the offer. What team are u joining?
Or maybe you didn’t do well at the interview. Years of experience means nothing if you cannot prove it. You can try negotiating but at this level it rarely works.
