There's no one answer. Mba definitely helps. It's not the only way to get career growth. Executive presence and diversity of skills set are all important for career growth
Totally go for MBA if you don't see growth in tech.

If you want to transition to Product Manager / Startups / VCs line, go for MBA. If you want to come back as an EM at a place like Amazon, it would be a waste of money and time.
