If there was a fraud transaction on my credit card account today does it mean that I'm a victim of Equifax hack ?

    Equifax knows most of your credit card numbers but NOT it’s expiry date or CVV.

    No, the Equifax hack wouldn't allow people to use your existing credit card. The risk is that people can open new lines of credit using your identity.

    Not necessarily. Honestly nearly everyone in the US was a victim of the Equifax hack. This one is likely something else
