Need help evaluating Amazon L6 (Sr. TPM) offer. Base: 160k First year sign on: 65k Second year sign on: 50k RSU: 100(over 4 yrs) Location: Seattle YOE: 12 yrs Is it a low ball offer or good?
Non tech offer or tech? And rsu over 4 yrs? For tech seems low if rsu is for 4 yrs. Also which location?
Updated post. Sr. TPM. Thanks!
Is this for non tech role? https://www.rooftopslushie.com/request/Amazon-L5-Offer-Evaluation-242 Here’s some useful insight. Hope this helps!
Very good offer
L5 getting 122k TC for non-tech role. 3 YoE. Gotta work harder!
Just a standard offer
How's is total comp calculated? The way I am seeing is 160 + 65=225k for first year. 210k for the second. Doesn't seem great. Am I missing something?
160+65+5 stocks for first. 160+50+15 stocks for second.
Salary sounds right, RSU sucks. Get more.
Base: 160k First year sign on: 65k Second year sign on: 50k RSU: 100(over 4 yrs) Location: Seattle Y1: 160 + 65 + (5*1800*1.15) = 235k Y2: 160 + 50 + (15*1800*1.15*1.15) = 245k Y3: 160 + (40*1800*1.15*1.15*1.15) = 269k Y4: 160 + (40*1800*1.15*1.15*1.15*1.15) = 285k Looks a little low on the starting cash the first two years. Year three is normally what I look at, which is like 270k. I would say that for an L6 TPM that’s a pretty good offer. I don’t know the exact bands, only that SDEs make much more and that’s 20k into the L6 SDE range. The first couple of years definitely looks slim, though.
Standard calc for stock appreciation
