Amazon bingming
Jun 2 14 Comments

Roughly the following numbers:
Base: 178K
Bonus: 15% so about 26K
Equity: 125K with 25% vest the first year then quarterly vesting

I have 3 YoE

Any room for improvement?

Cuz Amazon is shittest place you can work :) SF treats their employees very well. There's a reason why everyone wants to work there

Not my reasoning whatsoever. I’ve had the pleasure of working for Amazon, however, I simply wanted to see what other companies are up to and expand my skill set.

Looks good for Bellevue. You can try more equity, but good overall.

Just for more context, I have several offers on the table right now. I was not aware this was high to be quite honest. It felt a bit lower than I was anticipating. However, I have heard very good things about Salesforce that isn’t true about FAANG

Depends on what you're looking for at the current stage in life - I personally have kids and Salesforce's WLB is second to none. And the pay is good -- not the best but I would rather be less stressed and be able to spend more time with kids and not cranky when i come home after work.

For comparison that base is higher than a SMTS pay in nyc esp for someone who only has 3 yoe
