Evaluate an offer from Netflix for Senior Software Engineer
Got an offer but seems very low from what I hear here. Nowhere close to $400k I keep hearing about. I try to negotiate but the HR told me they give best offer from the area and not going to negotiate much. Maybe they might add $10k but still low. My current TC is close to what Netflix is offering but they didn't ask my current TC. WLB is really great at current company What should I do? I thinking rejecting it. $230k base 401k matching up to 4% 5% stock options program Location Los Gatos No bonus YOE: 12 years No other offers.
Reject, wait and interview to get more/better offers. One doesn’t change jobs often, so make it worth it when you do
