Learning is important than money. Amazon depending on which role you are going for may bring more learning. Any way you are not regressing salary
So it's better to join Amazon as sde2. If you join as sde2, means you are better than 50 percent of current sde2s (bar raiser round - every hire raises the bar) and given TC at median of the band or more ( like 220 ish). If you join as sde1 your tc after promotion to sde2 will be bottom of the band which is like 180 ish. And it will take at least 1-2 years. Btw, every sde2 raising the bar assumption is total crap and not true anymore. I wouldn't hire a lot of them even as sde1s. Having said that - in your position I would take the Amazon offer.
