Yes. Depends on the level and not offered by default at the time of joining.

What are the different levels at Expedia? How do they compare with Amazon for product roles. L6 (Sr. PM), L7 (Sr. Manager, PM), L8 (Director), L10 (VP) at Amzn ... what are the equivalent levels/titles?

There is a compensation opportunity to receive RSU or Stock options. Depends on the role and seniority. As you move into more senior roles (especially non-tech) only stock options are given (for obvious reasons).

That’s correct. Comp team finally realized our stock was stagnating making the options effectively worthless and had too many people leave.

Typically you have to be a level L or above, and it’s only stock options, they are no longer doing RSUs.

      That’s been flipped 180 now.
As of 2019, only RSUs are offered

Complete joke. Only it’s not funny. RSUs only given to certain populations. CEO can’t or won’t do anything about it and Barry Diller definitely not onto sharing ownership with the employees.

Depends if you are leaving money on the table by leaving your previous company. For instance if you had Amazon shares they may offer stock to you at time of hire.
